OWA Settings->Calendar->Events from Email; Setting changes do not hold

So, have a weird one affecting multiple 365 users across multiple tenants. Any changes to options under "Events from email" revert back to default as soon as "save" is clicked.

I was able to find this related post in an MS forum, which was a little discomforting, but it's old enough that it might have been rectified.

MS Support currently has no insight into the cause, but are researching the issue. Hoping someone else has run into, and better yet, resolved, the issue...
