Two identical email accounts in Offline Global Address List

Outlook > New Mail > select [To] button > then under "Address Book" in the dropdown list, select Offline Global Address List (GAL)
Then it shows two idential entries (same email address, same details, but just with alias 'user' and 'user1')

In the Address Book pulldown list, 2 other (exchange) account show up, but the Global Address List is not of an 'Offline' type, like in the default Outlook.

Question: could I delete one of the entries, let's say the one with 'User1'? (if so, how? There is no option within Address Book itself.

Many thanks indeed. Background and reason for asking is that, in the good old days, whilst creating a Calendar event and entering a few characters of the name of a city in the Location field, Outlook would usually show a pop-up with cities-names, whereas Outlook, for quite a while, shows a list of exact business names, their addresses and zip codes.

My workaround is that I have this small text file with frequently used cities/towns and I copy paste from the text file.



Now, whilst leaving the location field empty, but clicking on the Location-button, then under address book it shows two entries in Offline Global Address List and I therefore suspected that the cities/towns 'autofill' wasn't working because of the 2 entries. Something like Outlook not being able to decide which GAL to use, or so...
I admit, it was a 'verrry long shot' though.
Regretfully I have no idea what is being stored in the GAL. Maybe totally nothing, in the case of personal accounts(??)
Vainly tried to access it to find it, but was blocked. 'You can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead".
Bad luck...


When in contacts > address book > then Tools > Options I get the below. Whereas on some other site I see 2 entries only : Offline Global Address List and Contacts.
To be honest, I am not sure whether the below is correct, or how it should read.
Note: there are 3 Outlook Exchange accounts linked/connected to/set up in Outlook desktop.
