Error message 0x80040600

I have Windows 7 and Outlook 2007. All of a sudden, I cannot use Outlook at all, no calendar, no emails, no anything. Each time I try to use it, it says Error mesage 0X80040600. Can anyone help?!?.

Have you tried clearing the Deleted Items folder and then running scanpst.exe
 
What error message? You didn't show the actual error message, just a status

code that was part of the message. The test procedure sends a test e-mail

to your account and receives it from your same account. That is not a good

test to verify you can send e-mails anywhere other than to yourself,

especially to recipients on other domains.

You also never mentioned any of the following details:

- WHICH version of Outlook.

- What TYPE of e-mail account (POP, IMAP, HTTP/Deltasync, Exchange).

- WHICH version of Windows.

- The ENTIRE error message.

Based on the dearth of details you provided (just the error number), maybe
