My second post of the day. An odd occurrence in Microsoft Outlook 2010 that only began today. I have had two different email profiles running for the past two years and today I sent a test email from one to the other. Of course I don't usually send myself emails....but I was checking out a format and it seemed an easy way to do it - and I have done this previously with expected and normal outcomes. That is, the email was received! But today, and after many attempts, I kept getting the same error message:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.
The important thing to note here is that the recipient's name was replaced by an open and closed bracket. How peculiar is that?!
I used the Repair feature and ran it on Microsoft Office, rebooted, checked Alerts and Rules etc - even ate chocolate - but it continued to yield the same result.
Does anyone have any suggestions please? Of course it's all fine if the problem is only occurring between my two email accounts. But if it is a random thing that happens with other recipients, then I'd like to fix it before that creates issues.
Thank you. Kerry
