Hello:
Not sure if anyone has experienced this but it might be a bug in the Calendar form in Outlook 2010. We have put in place some Room Mailbox accounts and have automated processing all set up for them. We have discovered than when a user will open a shared calendar in let's say "Month" view to look at possible days that the room is free or busy, and then double click on an open day to book a meeting, the form that comes up doesn't have the TO: field pre-populated with the meeting room account. Users then will click the SAVE & CLOSE to post the meeting. When this happens, users are able to double book a room because automatic processing doesnt run and the user doesn't get a "decline" email if there is a conflict. The only way it will work is if the user sets the view to "Schedule View", locate a room, then double click an open day. This brings up the form with the room account in the TO: field and the SEND button to post it.
Has anyone else encountered this? I can inform users to make sure that this Calendar view is set to Schedule View when booking a meeting room, but most often the view that it defaults to is either the Day or Month View.
If there is a way around this, please let me know.
Thanks in advance for the help.
