I apologize, I do not know how to get the images in this interface.
The problem: After an update in May or June 2017 the advanced search does not properly. When you select some search criteria such as putting a name in the “From:” field. If you switch away from the search box and open it later the name remains in the field and cannot be overwritten or deleted. You must delete the “From” field and then re-add it or close and re-open outlook to be able to type in the field.
Although this happens most with the From field, mostly because that is the one most people use, it also happens with any of the user added search fields.
Steps to recreate the problem:
If you switch from this screen and then come back You are unable to edit the text in the previously filled field. You have to delete the now unmodifiable field and re-add it.
Then you have to re-add the field to do a new search.
I use this search at least 25 times a day. It is very frustrating to have to re-add the field after almost every use. Sometimes it will work normally for 1 or two times but eventually fails again.
I have multiple clients that now use this search feature and they too are having the same problem. All on different networks and domains.
