We are using Outlook 2016 and Exchange 2013. Initially the setting on my calendar permissions free/busy was set as Default free/busy. However when using the scheduling assistant, users could see the details of the calendar items unless they were marked Private. I changed the default permissions to None. Users can still see the details of my calendar entries and can even add themselves to appointments on my calendar.
It appears that Outlook or Exchange is ignoring the setting completely. Is there something I am overlooking or another setting that would do what I expect.
I would like to share free/busy information but no details of the events.
