outlook data file confusion

Outlook 2013 64 bit

somehow, outlook 2013 with gmail (pop), has created this set up in local outlook as my folder structure and as the data files tab in account management:
"Outlook Data File" (server)
"Archives" (local)
"My Outlook Data File" (server)
"Outlook Data File" (server)

The duplication of the Outlook Data File, the multiple Junk folders within (up to 5 now and growing), and multiple RSS folders (up to 3 now and growing) within are causing my system to have issues. Also, some folders have named themselves ____1. Why can't I change the name to be without the "1"?

Last thing, I have saved my data pst file on a server and not with the local outlook. Is this an issue?
