Can't change the location of the Data File (.ost) in Outlook 2013

I want to have my data file in a differnt location than the default Outlook location.

I have done what Mircosoft support suggested but didn't work.

I am using Outlook 2013, IMAP email account, Gmail, Windows 7 SP1.

I did change the "ForceOSTPath" to have my location. I did create a new profile. But still the .ost data file was created in the Outlook default location.

It worked :))))

I had given up on fixing this issue and I was using mklink to trick Outlook into saving into different location, but now it is fixed permanently.
