Hi,
Windows 10 | Outlook 365
After the creation of any Outlook item (Task, Contact, Email, Appointment) I would like to create/take a unique ID (EntryID?) and save that ID to a 'custom field' (?) where I will have a permenent reference ID for that Item.
I've done a bit of searching this morning in the forum and the net but nothing comes up that seems simple. Most people want to do fancy things like connect to a database and pull numbers through or only emails. Personally, I'd be happy with a simple Date ID (YYYYMMDDHMMSS) type thing, just as long as it's unique and can be applied to all Outlook Items.
Not sure where to start. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thank you..
