Hello,
I want to create an iCal file for a corporate event and send it as an attachment in Outlook 2010 to 1000 users.
In the definition of the iCal file there is a field called UID which needs to be unique.
I'm trying to understand if it only needs to be unique for each event, or if it needs to be unique for each event AND for each user I send it to? Do I have to create 1000 different iCal files?
In other words, if I send an iCal file containing the same UID value to 1000 users, will it mess up their calendars on my Exchange server?
Thanks,
- Alan.
