I've been attempting to get my name to appear as the sender and not my e-mail address on outgoing e-mails I've sent. I have Outlook 365 on an IMAP server. I've attempted all the usual procedures via the File>Account Settings>Account Name and Sync Settings>IMAP Account Settings>General Settings>Your Name (which displays my name)>Account Name (my Gmail address) Then, if I go to Account Settings>Account Settings>the E-Mail tab displays my e-mail address>IMAP/SMTP (send from this account by default). The Data Files tab displays my e-mail address, followed by the file path to my Outlook Folder. Based on what I've researched, this setup SHOULD display my name in the From field on e-mails I send to other recipients.
I've even tried to change the "Account Name" field to my name instead of my e-mail address, but nothing changes in the Sender field.
