Unopened message in inbox deleted and not in deleted items

Unopened message in inbox deleted and not in deleted items
 
Sorry Diane got wrong information from user. Just sent user a test. After she opened it she then deleted it and it cleared from Inbox but did not show in Deleted items folder.
