How to see in "To do Bar" the flagged archived emails ?

I currently only see the ones still in Inbox.

Are the Archived ones shown in the To-do folder in the task module?

I have exactly the same problem. I think it is an important lack of functionality.

@Diana: no they don't show up in the task module

They should be in the to-do bar or to-do folder unless you either have a filtered view or do not have the archive pst file enabled for tasks and reminders.

From Tasks and reminders in other folders:

On data files that are not used for email delivery, you can enable this feature by right-clicking on the top level of the data file and choosing Data File Properties. Verify the option to “Display reminders and tasks from this folder in the To-Do Bar” is enabled.

(They have screen shots if you need to see the dialogs.)

If the pst file is in the profile, the flagged mail should be in the To-do list on the Task module. You should see any task folder from that pst too - but flagged messages won't be in the tasks folder.

Larry's response tells where to check to see if the pst file is enabled to display the tasks and reminders (flagged mail). I'm guessing its not enabled.

Thank you people. I swear I was searching on the whole Internet around 1 hour. I will try tomorrow at work to fix it and let you know here if I have some more issues.

Till now I can tell you that in Outlook 2007, by default, they where no show

Workaround: dragged and dropped the mail to the tasks panel to create a task which replicates the mail. Still I got stubborn and I would like to fix as you suggest.

Cheers

I have tried to edit the previous post to avoid double posting but I haven't been able.

Anyway, it worked perfectly, thank you very much Larry and Diane. My mistake is that I was searching for "Archived emails" rather than "data files".
