Hi! I have an interesting issue I thought maybe you guys could help me with.
I work at a major US university, and we're considering using Social Connector to pull employee photos from active directory to display in Outlook 2007. I'm aware of the fact that you can disable basically the entire social networking functionality of the plugin with group policy, but there's one thing we can't figure out: How to push the install out over the network silently. There's a box that pops up when you first open Outlook after installing it that asks you to add social networking sources. Any idea how we can disable this? I'm sure it's a runonce key created upon install, but we haven't been able to find anything that looks like it controls that box.
Thanks!
