Outlook 2013 and Social Connector

I have Outlook 2013 running on Win8. When I went to install the LinkedIn social connector I discovered that the social connector add-in for Outlook wasn't there. It wasn't even disabled so that I could re-enable it. In addition, the People Pane in View is not there. What's wrong?
