Hotmail Connector messed up my Wifi

I installed the Hotmail Connector just because I was getting the annoying box telling me I needed to do this but after installing and there being a reboot on my phone line/live box, my wifi doesn't work. Whatever this pgrade is doing, it's messing up the auto ip address so that my laptop cannot connect. Twice now I have upgraded and then had to do a restore point to unable my laptop to work. I checked with "ipconfig/all" and it is definately setting a diferent ip to the one that the live box usually gives. Can anyone help me?
