Sharing Hotmail contacts / groups not working as expected

To be able to share contacts and mail groups between multiple Outlook 2010 users, I installed Outlook Connector on 10 pc's and added the same Hotmail account to all of them. On some pc's this works fine; contacts and groups are available and can be used to send mail. On a couple of other machines when the user starts Outlook a message appears that Connector should be updated (or something like that; exact wording of the message not available at the moment, sorry).

I was wondering if there is any obvious reason why I can not get this to work on all 10 machines. Is the number of connecting clients restricted? All machines go out on the same IP-address; could this be a factor?

Did you try updating the connector?

Is it always the same machines that get the error? If outlook is closed on the other computers, do you get the error?

There may be a limit to the number of computers that can connect at one time but the error does not indicate this is the problem.
