E-mail accounts problem !!!

Hi, my English is not so good, excuse me.

I have a problem with my e-mail account.

We had a computer with the e-mail accounts of the whole family on Outlook 2003, but now I have my own computer, with Windows Live.

The problem is that I have deleted my account on Outllok 2003 (the first computer), but when I have a mail,

you can read it on the first of the two computers where you open the e-mails, and not only on the second newest computer with Windows Live.

I have the same problem with the account of my dad, mother en sisters, you can see their mails if you open the e-mails on the newest computer first,

but they haven't any e-mail account on my computer, on Windows Live.

I think it's because we have the same (wireless) internet connection.

I hope you understood what's my problem.

Are the email accounts a catchall account where the same username and password is used for each email address?

If so, you need to configure the accounts to leave mail on the server. In outlook, go to tools, account settings, view or change account, double click on the account and then More Settings. Leave on server is at the bottom of the Advanced tab.
 
I have found 'Leave a copy on the server' in the settings, but that's when you want that mails arrives on the two computers, no ?

Is there another possibility ?
 
You use that option any time you want more than one profile or mail client to download the mail - it can be on the same computer or different computers.

It would be better if you could get your own mailbox with your isp.

Ok, and if I want that the mails for my account don't arrive on the first computer, but only on mine, and the same for the accounts on the first computer, so that they don't go to my computer, what do I have to do ?

You'll all need to get your own mailbox instead of sharing a catchall mailbox. Outlook will download everything in the mailbox.




If that's not possible, create a rule on your computer deleting mail addressed only to the other addresses and one on the first computer deleting mail addressed only to your address.
