Hi all hope you can help

I have recently swapped from a PC to a laptop at my work.

I had a link to some public folders for my archived emails put onto the desktop of my new laptop so i could still access them on the network.

While i was doing some tidying up i accidently deleted it !

I did have a copy of my PST file and improted these files back into my normal everday inbox I
quickly realised this was a mistake and deleted the large files straight away so i could keep on receiving and sending emails

without going over my mailbox size.

However when i now have deleted items to get rid of in the folder of the same name i

when i right click to empty the delivered items folder I get the following error message

"Outlook has not finished synchronizing local changes made to items in this folder. You cannot delete this folder until the synchronization with the server is complete."

this is very annoying and i cant seam to get rid of it

I have found my sync issues file and have deleted what has appeaered in there so far

but files keep appearing over time

is there a way to stop all this and get back to normal

I am also currently unable to send or receive any emails

please help i am getting myself in a right muddle

cheers

James

James

Hi James~

I realize that this is an old(er) thread, so you may have already figured out a resolution. This same thing happened to me today. What I did was I right clicked on Deleted Items and went to properties. On the Permissions tab, I found that I wasn't listed. I added myself as the owner and was able to empty the deleted items bin with no error message. :) I hope this helps you.
