attachments missing on reply

I send invoices to customers and when they reply, the attachment (invoice) is gone. I need it back because the email is not usually the company name, it's often account receivable person.
 
That is normal - attachments are not included in replies since you have the original. Do you have a copy of the sent message in your sent folder? If so, conversation groups should show the sent invoice grouped with the reply. Or change the subject field so it includes the company name. "Invoice # NNNN - Your company"
