From Field Blank when saving to folder other than Sent items

Running Outlook 2010. I have selected the option: "In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original message." When I reply or forward a message from a subfolder, the message goes through, but the From field is blank in the folder's message list. I can see my name in the From or cc fields if I open the message.

The From field is displayed in the folder and shows the sender of other emails, just not the ones I've forwarded or replied to.

Have seen this posted in other places, but no definitive answers. Thanks!
 
AFAIK, it can't be avoided - there is no fix or workaround for it. Sorry. Using rules to move messages should fix it, but that adds complexity. The other option is to use the Sent folder and enable the option to show mail from other folders in conversation view. The messages will group together in the view even though they are in different folders.
 
If you move the offending message to a different folder and back, the From: field will become populated :)
