Emails won't come into outlook but can send

Hi, My outlook decided a couple weeks ago to stop receiving emails properly. I did not do anything with the settings and have been using outlook for years.

When it loads emails, maybe once or twice a day, it loads maximum 100 at a time, usually less. I receive hundreds a day so am not getting all of them.

I am not sure why it all of a sudden decided to start doing this but do you know how I can fix it?
