some email not shown in conversation

OL13. This happens frequently. there is a conversation, all email with same subject. then one or two that don't wind up in the conversation list. they show separately in list of email. I can click between the errant email, and one in the conversation, and it is clear that the subject line is the same.

I have looked at the "Outlook's Conversation View isn't working" post here, but don't see the exact problem listed (though being able to drag the errant email into the conversation would be nice, but not possible).

any ideas about how to make OL13 work correctly in this regard (and while you are at it, in all other regards,

Unfortunately, the bits outlook uses to link two emails as one conversation are missing from the errant messages - most likely because of the mail server the sender uses or they changed the subject, even just a little bit (which could be the mail server's doing).

This is a feature actually not a bug

Let me aware you the "missing e-mails" are hidden from user because they are present in the "reply queue”. Go to your Outlook profile and have a closer look u will see emails with different and same icons. Now have a look on "multi e-mail" messages and start scroll down the messages you will easily found your missing emails.

Additional Info: You will use buttons also to check emails

Also try this to see missing emails

You can also use inbuilt features provided by outlook i.e. Turn On and Turn off the conversation

  • Choose option "Always expand conversations"
  • Point to conversation settings click on View Conversation

Moreover you can also save your email conversation history
