why my mail stopped

I have outlook 2007. I have 2 hotmail.com accounts. I've been moderately happy with both for about a year I've configured them together. Recently, I started getting a message "Enter network Password". It had my correct email address and the correct password. After retrying several times, I went to Tools ->Account Settings-> B********@ hotmail.com->"repair email account" and got "cannot log on to server". My other hotmail account (with the same settings) works. I can also log into both accounts online. What changed? and how can I fix it?

Hotmail is now a "Exchange Account" and this may be the issue. Outlook 2007 does not support more than one Exchange account on a profile.

Try creating a new profile in the mail(32bit) inside control panel and see if it can connect with out the second account. If so... that would mean that you will need to

A) select a new profile each time you launch outlook or
B) purchase office 2013 (or 365) as Outlook 2010 and later supports muliple 'exchange' accounts on the same profile.
