Configuring Inbox columns

I have a lot of sub-folders in my inbox.

Is there a way to set a single default view for these folders for the columns displayed - eg From, Subject, Date received, size, Flag etc, rather than setting each one individually.

To make it more complicated, ideally I'd like a different default for inbox and sent items (mainly just to swop over the From and To fields)
 
In Outlook 2007 - no. In the newer versions of outlook, you can apply the view to all or selected folders. I would probably customize the default view then create a custom view for the inbox - sent items should have its own view.

Start with with the /cleanviews switch then customize the default view and it should apply to all folders.
