I'm using Outlook 2016 (64-bit) on Windows 10. I sync my calendar with a third-party tool (Outlook Google Calendar Sync). Since Outlook doesn’t allow multiple reminders for a single event, I’d like to automate this:

  • Detect newly synced events in the local Outlook calendar.
  • Copy them to another local calendar.
  • Modify the reminder time in the copied event.

Is it possible to achieve this with a script?

Not sure what part your Calendar Sync program plays in this. Would it be accurate to simplify to:

When a new Item is added to CalendarA (Folder.Items.ItemAdd event) Then
Copy the Item to CalendarB (AppointmentItem.CopyTo method)
Change the Reminder Time on the Item in CalendarB
(AppointmentItem.StartUTC property and AppointmentItem.ReminderMinutesBeforeStart property)

And what is the rule for changing the Reminder Start and BeforeStart on the Item in CalendarB?
