Error: 5102. Server. Maximum request length exceeded

There is configuration bug in the Live Mail servers where a setting doesn’t allow sending emails larger than 4MB. The temporary workaround is to delete the mail that is in the Outbox. As far as I’m aware, this only repros on the Send. Once they get rid of the offending message, the Sync should work. The other thing they’ll have to do temporarily is not send messages that are larger than 4MB.


The server should be fixed by mid-May 2010.
