Outlook Web App - calendar week number is incorrect

Hi

The calendar week number say that we're in week number 6 (today is 3rd Feb) in Outlook Web App Exchange 2010 with rollup pack 1. Using Outlook Web Access Exchange 2003 SP2 it says week 5.

Any ideas?

OWA 2010 UR1 here says week 6.

OWA 2003 SP2 here says week 6.

What day of the week is your week set to start on in OWA 2010 and 2003?

2010 options I have weeks " Start on Sunday"

2003 options I have " Week starts on Sunday" and " First week of year starts on Jan 1"

In Exchange 2003, we can choose the how week numbers are presented, we use “First 4-day week”

Due to OWA design change (Utilize the general .NET function) in Exchange 2007 and 2010, it is not possible to choose how week numbers are presented instead it is chosen from the language chosen for OWA. For example:

· Choosing some language (Danish) in Exchange 2007 OWA the Week January 4-10 will be week 1 for year 2010

· Choosing English language in Exchange 2007 OWA the Week January 4-10 will be week 2 for year 2010

So, the week numbers will go from 2 to 53 instead of 1 to 52

Thanks for your reply. In Exchang 2010 OWA I have selected English US under options - regional settings. Week number 1 is the week 28.12-03.12, week 2 is 04.01-10.01. Week number 1 isnt listed, it says week 53 and then week 2.

If I select Norwegian (bokmål), week 1 is displayed and it's 04.01-10.01.

So the above behaviour is by design?

This is so stupid and plain wrong that I cannot find words. Week numbering jumping from 53 to 2!? Not even the Mayan calendar has that, And this OWA bug has been around since many years. It's time MS got it fixed. Can't someone tell them! I have tried and tried but they do not listen to me...
