I want to use Outlook only for tasks and calendar not for sending or receiving e-mails. Is this possible? And how to do that?

Yes, it's possible.
Just create a regular new profile, with no information on the e-mail account. It's the same procedure as creating a new profile but you don't enter your e-mail address.
Here are the steps:
1. Open Control Panel
2. Click on Mail
3. Click "Show Profiles"
4. Click Add and enter a name for your new profile
5. Click Cancel when the Add New Account screen comes up to enter your email account information.
6. On the dialog "If you want to create a profile with no e-mail accounts, click OK. If you do not want to create a profile at all, click Cancel." Click OK
7. Set this profile as default.
