Corrupt .msg file

I opened a .msg file in notepad. I did not edit the file. I then saved the file in notepad. The file now does not open in Outlook.

Can I "uncorrupt" this file?
 
What error do you get when you try to open it? Is the msg in windows file system or outlook?




There is one bug where you can't open msg in the file system - drop it in a folder in outlook and it should open ok.
