Hello,
I have an interesting issue that I haven't been able to quite lick yet. Specifically, I have one email address (will call it "A") out of the hundreds I use daily that sometimes bounces back to me. What I have noticed is that if I haven't emailed A in a while, the email goes straight through. However, if I email A several times over the span of a few days, the first few emails go through (2-3) and then the latter ones get rejected. The failure notice says, "Sorry, I couldn't find any host by that name." Even though it found that host successfully just one email ago.
I have tried emailing A directly through my webmail option (I use GoDaddy and a POP3 account) and that email consistently goes through fine. No problems like above using Outlook. I have also changed all my outgoing SMTP port settings and emailed A several times using all the available options. The same thing occurs where it seems fixed for a few messages and then it doesn't work.
And I have emailed A using other accounts through my Outlook specifically my POP3 gmail account. Those emails go through correctly yet he is a work client and I want to use my work account not my personal account.
Lastly, I have also contacted GoDaddy directly and of course, I get the "if you have tried all of our port settings and it sends through Webmail, it must be Outlook." When I have contacted Microsoft about Outlook predictably I get "it can't be on our end, it must be through your email host." Basically, neither side is worth a darn.
Has anyone else had an issue like this and/or does anyone have any additional advice?
Thanks!
Tim
