Hi all, I am using Exchange 2007 and I have Outlook 2010 on my PC. I am a fan of using rules, and I have lots of them that organize my mail server-side into about 100 folders. I use a Search Folder with today's mail to view what I've received today, along with other Search Folders for specific views. I'm happy with how everything works on my PC.
Smartphones and tablets are a different story. Most of their email programs only show and sync one folder at a time, and it's not practical for me to go through all 100 folders over and over again. So, what's the solution? I've tried many different approaches but I think I need another opinion.
Right now, I have all of my mail copied to a Gmail account server-side and I pick up that mail instead of my usual mail, simply because it is all in my Inbox in Gmail. I can't reply to any of it (I don't want people to reply to the Gmail account or even know about it) and it's not synched with my regular email account. I'd really like to find a better solution.
I've looked in Rules and can't find a way to copy all email from today to my Inbox -- I thought that might work but I'm not sure if that's possible.
Help? Thanks!
