Change default Current View on People

Outlook 2013: I have several "custom views" set up for People. Every time I navigate away from the People tab and return, the View returns to the default People view. I then have to go up to the "Current View" box and click on the custom View I want to see. Is it possible to 1) change the View you want as your default view and 2) rearrange the order of custom views so that the one I use all the time appears in the "Current View" box so I don't have to: click the arrow to show all my views then scroll to find my view and select it?

I just realized that this issue is with the contacts that we have in a shared "Public Folder." With the contacts in my local folder, if I pick a view and navigate away from People then return, the last view I used is still active (as it used to be in my old Outlook 2003 version.) So is there some setting that needs to be changed at the Exchange level or is this not possible on a Public Folder for some strange reason?
