On Outlook 2016 emails on one of my customers pcs running Windows 10, when displaying a list of emails in the Inbox there is a icon column. On some emails there is a yellow envelope. I have read another post on this forum which I don't think applies. I have spoken to Microsoft technical via their chat and they tell me that it shows unread emails.
However this icon appears on read emails, but not every one. Unread emails are in blue and read ones are in black.
I have wondered if it is to do with hovering the mouse over emails where they sometimes go from unread to read, but I can't find an explanation anywhere. I wonder if it is marking unopened emails, not unread ones.
Any thoughts please ?
