Outlook Message Window Changes Size and Position

I am using Outlook 2016. In the last six months, I am finding that when I open up a message the size and position of the message often change. I then resize the message window, move the window to the desired position on my display, then close the message. Future messages will open correctly for five, maybe 10, emails and then the size and position will change again. Is there any way to fix the size and position of an Outlook message so that they always open with the same size and position?
