I'm in the process of transferring a mailbox from Outlook.com to a Linux mail program on a machine that is currently not connected to the internet, for which Outlook.com has created a PST file for me to download. However when I import the PST into the new program, there are no photographs/pictures whatsoever in the emails - just the formatted text, coloured boxes etc, but wherever a picture should be there is just a box with a question mark in it.
My question is this: should a PST file contain the photo/pictures present in emails, or are these left out of the PST (perhaps for compactness)?
Any advice appreciated.
