.pst file error at opening outlook

Hello,

I tried to open my MS Outlook 2010 and it showed me: “Cannot open your default e-mail folder. The file xxxx.pst is not a personal folders file”.

I dont know what to do in such situation. I read over the Internet about ScanPST.exe, but this app didnt help me.

I wasted my genius ideas, anyone suggest me smth, please!
 
What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? Did you enable compatibility mode on outlook.exe? Don't - you don't need it and it can cause this error. The troubleshooting wizard will turn it on.
