Two Inboxes, Same Email?

Hi!

We recently upgraded our email host from Siteground to GSuite (iMap). Now, there are two inboxes in my Outlook, both for the same email address - one is associated with the old account, and one with the new. I need to get rid of the old account/inbox without losing info. Suggestions??

Guidance is appreciated!
 
Was the old account set up as pop? If so, that is the pst file the account used. Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings to open the Account Settings dialog. Look on the data files tab and remove the old one. It should have a pst extension and be in documents folder path.
 
you can use direct backup software which helps you to backup the files with attachments easily, many of them also provide demo version you can use that for the backup.

I believe so. I can see two files in the Account Settings. However... We did a data migration and brought everything over from the old account into Gmail. Then we setup Outlook. Right now, there is an Outlook app icon on the bottom bar (pulls the old account) and one in the middle of the screen on desktop (pulls the new account). I need to make sure that all the folders are preserved from the original mailbox while only pulling in the emails that have come over from GSuite since we ran a migration that includes email going all the way back to 2008.

I would then want to get rid of the inbox not needed so it's not confusing. Biggest concern is not losing folders and info that were associated with the old email. Is that possible??

I'm attaching a screen shot - not sure how well you can see it as it's so small and blurry, but there are two inboxes that are the same email. Thanks for all the help/guidance.
