E-mails marked as read turn back to unread after a couple of seconds

Outlook 2019 64-bit
Email Account
IMAP
It happens with both my Gmail account and another IMAP account.

If I mark one e-mail as read it just turns back to unread.
If I hit "mark all as read" button, then an syncing error message appears with this code: 0x80040107

Is there any known fix for this issue? Thank you.
