Synchronization Error of contacts and calender using Outlook connector

I'm using MS Outlook 2007 for my hotmail account with outlook connector ( Outlook Hotmail Connector Version 14.0.4760.1000)


it was using it with perfect ease but due to some reasons i had to change my Laptop and i deleted my account from my laptop. on the new laptop i installed windows and added my account in MS Outlook same way using outlook connector .. it was working fine. i got my windows corrupted and i reinstalled my windows and added my hotmail account using outlook connector but this time i retrieved all my mail folder but not even a single mail is retrieved. at the bottom with server status there is Error sign which tells


Mail Connected


Calender Error


Contacts Error


and in detailed report i find this report:

Send/Receive progress is simply completed without retrieving any mail.


i uninstalled MS office twice removed my account and re add it twice but nothing worked.


i even repaired my MS Office 2007 but it didnt work as well.


its all three days fighting with this issue i'm unable to find solution.




In sync Issues local failure folder is empty but when whenever is send/receive there is a report is Sync Issue like this :

I'm just tired PLEASE HELP!!!!
 
Do you have any mail in the junk folder? Any large messages? (over 3MB)




Empty the junk mail in Outlook, empty the deleted items folder and if you have any large messages, move them to a local pst or Shift+Delete them.




you can also delete the blocked and safe senders lists for the hotmail account in outlook (select a folder in the account then go to the junk email settings).
 
well i deleted all mails bigger than 3MB and i have nothing in safe sender and block senders


i tried all these things but nothing worked... :(
 
i disabled my Avast antivirus, deleted my account from Outlook, uninstalled outlook connector, then reinstalled and added account again,.......Same problem...:(
 
It could be a transient error that will clear up on its own... that happens fairly often with hotmail but we have no way of knowing if its your problem. :(




Do you need calendar and contacts? If not, use POP3 for your live mail.
 
I am having exactly the same problem with Outlook 2007 in WindowsXP Pro x64. Under Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (I dual-boot) it works just fine. I have 3 hotmail accounts and get the same errors with all 3 of them. Again, Windows 7 works just fine, WindowsXP doesn't.

I have done everything I have read to do. Used MicrosoftFixit to COMPLETELY remove Office 2007, ran CCleaner to be sure, and reinstalled Office. After reinstalling, when I open Outlook, my address book is back even though I hadn't imported it yet, the "deleted" accounts are back and the same errors all over. Am I going to have to reinstall WindowsXP to clear this up?

It's not a problem with hotmail, Thunderbird works just fine.

Is there a 4 digit error code in with the sync errors?

I created a new Outlook profile under Control Panel>Mail......no change.

Again, if I boot into Windows 7 and open Outlook 2007, everything works fine. My new install of Outlook 2007 in Windows XP does not. From what I can see, all relevant settings from one OS to the other are the same.
 
This - There was an error synchronizing your folder hierarchy. Error : 80004005. - makes me thing its a folder name - but if so, it should fail on the other install too.

Check your safe/blocked senders list in outlook - if there are names on it, export them then delete them from outlook. Also check your junk mail settings - are they the same as in hotmail online?

Would you believe I have no "safe/blocked senders list" other than having checked "trust email from my contacts"? There were NO safe or blocked senders online. My junk folder was empty in Outlook AND online.

Anyway, I gave up out of frustration, installed Windows Server 2008 R2 (instead of WindowsXP Pro) and then installed Office 2010 WITHOUT Outlook Connector. I entered my email account information using pop3.live.com/smtp.live.com, ports 995/587 and security protocol TSL and.......everything works fine.

Thanks for your suggestions.
