Here Have my emails gone

Hi, every so often my emails keep dissappearing, is this anything to do with auto archive? I have tried to access the archive file but i am unable to, Any ideas how i can stop this and how can i retrieve my lost emails?
 
It could be the autoarchive or something else.


Do all messages disappear? Can you id an age that most disappear? (Ie, 60 days after you receive or replied to a message.)


Do you sync with a smartphone?


Can you find the missing messages if you use instant search to look for them?


Go to Folder list (Ctrl+6) - how many pst files do you have in the list?


Go to File, Options, Advanced, AutoArchive Settings. Is Autoarchive enabled? If so, what are the settings?

Thanks, I have changed my auto archive settings to the same as yours, is there any way of retrieving my old emails, I cannot access the archive file within outlook, will they be in there and if so how do I open it?:cool:
