Search contact folders

When I try to search my contacts in the icloud folder I have to type the whole and hit enter or click search, For the folders under My Contacts (outlook and suggested) I only need to type the first few letters for the quick search and it will find the contact.

Can anyone tell me how to change the settings for the search for my icloud folder? So I can do the quick search.
