unable to open signed emails

hi everyone

a few w7x64/outlook 2010 sp1 clients are unable to open digitally signed emails. the same user can open these emails in owa on the same client. i already tried to create a new outlook profile, but i had the same problem.

they get the following message while trying to open the signed emai: this element can not be opened, because of an unknow error. (translated from german). the unterlying exchange is 2010.

any ideas where to start the troubleshooting process ? thanx alot .

PS: the Problem must be realted to Outlook. if i go to a different Client i can open the emails.
