Hi,
I used to be that a new contact would show Display as: thus: Firstname Lastname (e-mail address). Nowadays, it only shows the e-mail address (Please see attachment). If I manually change that by deleting the filed, Outlook creates it correctly with the contact name included, and remembers that. If I manually reate a contact, it also looks fine. Only contacts created automatically seem to show this problem. Running ScanPST did not help.
For example, I had a new contact folder into which I'd imported a .csv files which listed Firstname, Lastname and e-mail address. They were all imported correctly, but the e-mail Display as: only showed the address as described above. I ran ContactGenie Toolkit and converted the Display as: which showed things as desired, but in Outlook itself, it still only shows the e-mail address in the contacts' Display as: field. I have some 1500 contacts whose Display as: field seems to have lost the contact name.
Is there an easy way to fix this? Thanks for your help
Peace,
Fox
