I'm not sure exactly how to ask this question so bear with me. I have a gmail account that syncs to outlook and my iphone. In outlook I have a large tree of folders in which I like to file emails as they come in. The tree of folders is "On my computer". However when I move an email from my inbox for one of the "On my computer" folders, I can no longer access it on my iPhone, which is annoying sometimes. I know I could fix this my having my folders on gmail, rather than on my computer, but I don't want to do it that way.
Basically what I want is a rule that says "When an email gets moved to a local folder, continue storing in on gmail for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, delete it from gmail, but keep it stored in the local folder" Any one know of a way to do something like this? I'm using outlook for mac 2011
