Hello. I'm new to this forum so I hope this is a good place to start with my enquiry. I’m looking for a simple add on feature to Outlook where I can identify the seating capacity of a resource room at a set number. For example 12. Send out a meeting invitation to 100 people. Have the resource room accept the first twelve and decline everyone else when the room has reached it capacity, sending a notice to contact the meeting organizer if there is still interest in the meeting topic. In our specific case, we have a training room with 12 seats. I want to invite the entire company to MS Excel Intermediate level training for a specific time. I want to accept the first twelve people into the class and I want the resource room to decline everyone else with a customizable email notice. Is anyone aware of a product that does this. I'm not aware of anything that does that, but I see a lot of people ask for something. In Exchange, you can configure a room capacity but it's useless in current versions because it doesn't do anything, its for reference only. To do something like what you want, you'd need to use a server side utility or script. I did a quick google and don't see any scripts or applications that can do this. Sorry.
