Dear Great people,

Hope you will be fine.

I am using Outlook 2007 for years. My pst file size has increased to 16GB.

Now suddenly, my Inbox items are not showing. (SENT items and some other subfolders are showing)

The error is "There are no items to show in this view"

I have already tried changing View>ArrangeBy> Date/ Time etc but no luck.

My file is larger than 2GB so I cannot use "SCANPST".

Is there anything I can do to save hundereds of my emails?

Any comment will be appreciated.

The pst file alone is not the problem - Outlook 2007 can support larger pst. Do you have a lot of mail, calendar, contacts? 16GB is larger than average.

Did you try resetting the view? do you know how many items are in the inbox? I usually recommend keeping it under 5000 items, it's usually faster that way.

Switch to a folder that works and open the import /export wizard - export the Inbox to a new pst then open the new pst - can you see the items? If so, try archiving just the inbox (can do it from the File menu) and see if that helps.

Many Thanks for you post and sorry for late reply. Please note the followings,

1- Yes, I have a lot of Emails , Tasks, Contacts etc. 16GB is the file size (It became larger gradually during past 2.5 years).

2- Yes, I tried resetting the views but that didnt solve the issue.

3- I dont know exactly how many emails are in my INBOX but I know that those are more than 6000 emails.

4- I have tried Exporting. It shows an error while exporting INBOX ( "Errors hve been detected in the file.......use Inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to diagnose........ for more information....see help ")

5- I have tested exporting good folder to new pst and that works fine but my corrupt folder (INBOX) gives error.

6- Archieve also gives the same error.

Please suggest some way to save my emails.
