I am trying to automate the testing of Pivotal CRM application that includes an Outlook 2007 add-in using vbscript. The application generates an appointment form with a custom task pane. There are required fields on the custom task pane that have to be entered before the appointment can be save. The appointment will be saved in Outlook as well as the application.
I am using Outlook ActiveInspector to update the fields on the appointment form. I am able to update the Outlook fields - like start time, end time etc. But I cannot access the custom task pane or the fields on the custom task pane using active Inspector.
Has anyone attempted anything similar or have any suggestions?
