Outlook Rule - Create Link in Forwarding Message

Hi,

I am getting standardized messages with a body like this:

Event Number: 123456
Date: 08/01/2014
Customer: xxx xxx
Narrative: yyy yyy

The event number is a unique identifier in a system and when added to a specific URL, that link would go directly to the event in the system.

=> I am looking for a way to extract the event number from the message, add a predefined URL body to it and forward the original message with the newly created URL.

Example of what should be in the forwarded message:
forums.slipstick.com/123456

In a perfect world the URL would be added to the original message body underneath the event number:

Event Number: 123456
Date: 08/01/2014
Customer: xxx xxx
Narrative: yyy yyy

Use the Instr function to find the position of the event number. Then extract it with the Mid function.

If you want the url be displayed with just the event number, the message must be html formatted. Use the Replace function, and replace the number with: "<a href='here the url'>here the event numer</a>"
